Frequently Asked Questions
-
When you first reach out to us we’ll want to know a few things:
I. How many records do you have? We don’t need an exact count, especially for larger collections, but it’s good to get a rough idea of how big the collection is.
II. What kind of music do you have? We would like to know what specific genres of music are in the collection (Rock, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Reggae, etc.).
After that we can determine if it will be worth it for you to set up an appointment.
-
We buy the records individually which means you get more money than if you sold the entire collection at a flat-rate per record.
The value of each record depends on the title, pressing and condition. If you tell us what you have we can give you a rough idea of what they are worth, but we can’t accurately assess the true value of the collection until we see it in person.
If you prefer to sell your collection as a lot we can accommodate you.

By selling your collection to Good Buy you get the best value for your records. We have over a decade of experience in the business and are lifelong DJs and music enthusiasts. We’ve been able to stay in business because we’re good to our customers and pay well for records. Half of our business comes from word of mouth so it pays to treat people fair.
